D'Angelo Capriglione, MA, LPC
(He/Him/His)

Meet D'Angelo

Who am I?

D’Angelo Capriglione, MA, LPC is a licensed mental health therapist with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, including providing therapy to individuals, families, and groups. He is late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD, which informs both his clinical perspective and his deeply affirming, neurodiversity-aware approach to care. D’Angelo strives to create a therapeutic space where clients don’t have to perform, mask, or “change their face” to be accepted.

Authenticity is encouraged!

His work often centers on trauma, emotional regulation, identity, relationships, and navigating systems that weren’t designed with every nervous system in mind. Clients frequently describe him as grounded, curious, and collaborative, with a style that blends insight, humor,
and practical support.

Outside the therapy room, D’Angelo is a dog lover, retired skateboarder, creative thinker, and lifelong learner. His interests range from synthesizers, gaming, Legos, and graphic novels to extreme weather, volcanoes, the ocean, space, and true crime. He believes curiosity and play are not just hobbies, they are
a vital part of being human.

D’Angelo brings both professionalism and genuine humanity to
the work of healing and growth.

My Modalities

This flexible framework allows me to adapt sessions to each client’s needs, balancing insight-oriented work with practical strategies for emotional regulation, behavior change, and personal growth.

I work from a belief that every person has gifts, struggles, and many layers of identity.  The way we move through the world is complex and personal. Recognizing strengths and learning the skills to manage this imperfect life is the difference between thriving and “just surviving.”
