Meet Nura

Who am I?

Nura Capriglione, MD, LPC is a licensed mental health therapist with over 25 years of experience working with parents, children, and families. She welcomes clients who are seeking change, whether they arrive feeling motivated, uncertain, or somewhere in between. Nura understands that change is a constant, and her work focuses on helping clients engage in that process with awareness, balance, and compassion.

Nura emphasizes meeting each client where they are, supporting both growth and stability while honoring the discomfort that often accompanies meaningful change. She works collaboratively with clients to recognize progress, build resilience, and create changes that are sustainable over time.

Nura values each client’s unique story and perspective, recognizing that cultural background, family systems, and lived experience shape how we understand ourselves and the world. She brings warmth, curiosity, and respect into the therapeutic relationship, creating space for reflection, humor, and connection along the way. With a background in yoga and meditation, Nura may incorporate mindfulness and gentle movement into sessions when appropriate and desired. She enjoys thinking creatively and working alongside clients to find approaches that align with their goals, strengths, and everyday lives.
