This might include your home or another community setting that we agree on together. We do not maintain a traditional office, which allows us to meet clients where they are, both logistically and personally. If sessions are held in a shared or community space, clients are responsible for coordinating the location and obtaining any required permissions in advance. There is no commute, no parking, and no additional travel time, which can make therapy easier to fit into your schedule. Access to care Online sessions allow you to receive consistent, high-quality care even if you live farther away, experience weather disruptions, are traveling, or have limited transportation options. Comfort Some people feel more at ease meeting from their own space, especially if they experience social anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or simply prefer virtual communication. This is a common concern, especially if you’re new to telehealth. Our video sessions are set up to support natural conversation and genuine connection, including clear audio and visual contact. Many clients are surprised by how quickly sessions begin to feel comfortable and how easy it is to forget that they are not in the same physical space. If you feel that you would rather have an in-person session, we can meet at a location of your choosing.

Technology issues are rare, but if they do happen, we will never intentionally disconnect from a session. If the video connection drops and we are unable to reconnect online, your therapist will contact you by phone to continue or appropriately close the session.
